Tea Tree

Tea tree is a small Australian paperbark, usually to about 7 m, with a dense crown and pale, peeling bark. Cream-white flowers pack into spikes and give the tree a fluffy look in bloom. The oil is steam-distilled from the leaf.
Over the last century it has been widely used and studied for skin care, as a clearing note for the chest and airways, and as a household cleaner.
